Dimenteq in Melbourne this week

22. May 2017 Uutiset

Dimenteq takes part in the Victoria Community Engagement Summit May 23rd-24th in Melbourne, Australia. The event focuses on professional development of people working with community engagement and participatory practices.

The summit will provide quality learning in the areas of digital place-making, internal engagement and engaging beyond cultural, social and political divides. The summit will also provide information on deploying successful engagement strategies. Fifty industry leading engagement practitioners will share their knowledge across five different events.

In Australia, community engagement is an interesting focus of attention at the moment, creating enthusiasm within the public sector. Map-based survey tool Harava as well as other GIS services by Dimenteq go well together with Australia’s endeavours in being the leading smart city nation. It is very interesting to get to know the local community engagement scene and find out if there is something we can bring from Europe — and vice versa, something that we can adopt and take back home with us”, Dimenteq sales manager Juuso Salmu says.
